  • 2. What is a Personal LearningNetwork(PLN)? This is what you as a teacher use to learn apart fromprofessional development classes, in your ownpersonal time. Some examples could be: Twitter Facebook A teacher friend Blogs RSS feeds and more.
  • 3. Interaction with Peers and otherteachers I find that I learn best from talking with other teachersand asking them about their views on education. I learn by sharing ideas with fellow teachers andcollaborating different teaching ideas.
  • 4. Twitter I currently do not use twitter but I think that I couldbenefit greatly by subscribing to other teachers twitterfeeds because I spend a lot of time on the internet.Image from - http://thehrblog.ecornell.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2013/05/twitter-featured.jpg
  • 5. Professional Experience The practical experience that I obtain as a teacherwould be a huge source of learning for me. I learnheaps from having hands on experience in theclassroom. Even receiving constructive criticism, helps me a lot togrow as a teacher.
  • 6. Facebook By subscribing to a teachers feed on Facebook, I couldlearn about new techniques and find resources whichshow up on my newsfeed. Because I check Facebook every day, this would be oneof the most effective learning tools for my PLN.Image from -http://bit.ly/15Ooazk

  • 9. Reflective Blog I have never used a blog but I think a reflectiveteaching blog could be an effective tool for my ownprofessional development as a teacher. Even a website like tumblr. could be effective as areflective blog website.
  • 10. Dropbox I could also use dropbox to store all my teachingresources, to make sure that they are never lost.Image from - http://digitaltutorials.jrn.columbia.edu/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/Dropbox_Logo1.png
